[Interviewer] [Sam Carter]
"It's so nice to meet you, Sam. We don't have very much time but it's great to have you here in our studio tonight." "Of course! Nice to meet you, too." "So... Your last movie, "Joanie who?" It was pretty succesful." "It was! I really didn't expect that so many people would like it, but I think it's because they can all relate to Joanie." "She's the main character, right?" "Yep. That's sort of why her name is in the title, you know." "When did you decide to become a movie director and script writer?" "Well, I've been writing all my life, I just never published my work. I always wanted to make it as an actor. And I did, at first, but I kind of hated it. I never agreed with the script and the directors. One day I came to the conclusion that maybe I should write the scripts myself. And it worked." "It did. So how is your private life?" "Fine. Good. I don't really have a private life anymore." "Because you're busy or..." "Or because I have a dozen stalkers? Both." "Yes.. Your fans have been very upset about the breakup with Annie." "Yeah. Me too." "Of course. Um. Can you tell us why it happened? A lot of fans would like to know." "And a lot of people have asked me that before, but I don't want to talk about it. Sorry." "We won't bother you with it then. Let's talk about your dog." "My dog! That's a subject of my liking." "Why did you name him Gary?" "I don't really know. I wanted a simple name for a simple dog. He's awesome." "Okay, our last question, because our time is running out. Are you happy?" "What do you mean? Happy because the interview is almost over?" "No, like, are you happy? With your life, with what you have accomplished?" "..." "So?" "I... Sure. Well, right now? Not- not really." "Thank you for your time."
That's when I decided to leave. To get out of everything. I packed my back and took my car, heading to destination nowhere. There was no home anymore. Annie used to be my home, but she betrayed me. Cheated on me. How cliché was that? Well anyways, it was time to find a new home, somewhere nobody would know who I am.
